Built From the Forest.
Built to Stand Apart.
A one-of-a-kind, fully off-grid cabin built from salvaged National Forest timber.
At approximately 1,000 square feet, this one-bedroom, one-bath cabin is intentionally simple in size and anything but ordinary in construction.
Built from beetle-kill lodgepole pine harvested from the National Forest, the cabin transforms timber that once posed a wildfire hazard into a solid-wood home designed for independence, longevity, and a deeper connection to the land.

From Wildfire Risk
to remarkable home.
Every board has a story.
Every board used in this cabin began as beetle-kill lodgepole pine harvested from the National Forest.
Left standing, these dead and dying trees contribute to the fuel load that can intensify wildfires. Here, that timber has been given an entirely different future as the walls, floors, and roof of a permanent home.
What was once part of a forest crisis is now part of the solution.
BUILT DIFFERENTLY. BY DESIGN.
A smarter way to build with solid wood.
Built with Interlocking Cross-Laminated Timber, the walls, floors and roof are continuous solid wood, delivering exceptional strength, insulation and natural fire resistance.
Precision CNC-cut dovetail joints lock the solid-wood panels together. No adhesives, chemical binders or mechanical fasteners required.
By turning salvaged timber into a permanent structure, the carbon stored in the wood stays locked inside the home for its lifetime.
You Can’t Order One From a Catalog.
And that's exactly the point.
The ICLT structural system was developed exclusively by Euclid Timber Frames of Heber City, Utah, using precision-engineered solid-wood construction.
Paired with limited-source beetle-kill pine harvested from federally managed forests, off-grid infrastructure and the individual property itself, this is not a production cabin.
It is one of a kind by design.
More than a retreat.
Built for independence.
Private water. Solar power. Solid-wood construction. No adhesives or fasteners. Fully off-grid.
For those seeking more than a mountain getaway, this cabin offers something increasingly rare: privacy, independence and a lasting connection to the land.
